Description
(±)-6-Hydroxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethylchromane-2-carboxylic acid, also known als Trolox, is a Vitamin E derivative with similar antioxidant properties. Trolox has been used as the standard for the Trolox antioxidant equivalent capacitiy (TEAC) assay, an assay to measure the antioxidant strength based on Trolox.
